back after another week of duty.
one month ago, my station IC told me that he will be handing the IC role to me after he left. didnt took much notice of what he says, as he will only be leaving in september, which is so so so far away from now.
however, before we start our duty last week, he made an announcement in front of the crowd, he says: i might be going for EX OBO, and the next IC will be Elton. for that one moment, i was shocked! i never expect me to be taking over him so quickly. instead of september, he will be leaving our platoon the latest by june, as the exact date is not confirmed. of course, there lies a huge possibility that he might leave our platoon by may, which means he will start to hand down things next week or so. i am totally unprepared. furthermore, he instructed me not to be too nice to the newer guys and must scold them!! this is so unlike of me. do you normally see me scolding people?? wells, i guess i have got loads to learn. my PR skills, my ops, my boat handling and lots of things. where should i start first?? sighs. i understudied him for one whole week of 7 days. didnt learnt much as what he taught is quite elementary and are things which i already knows.
a sense of satisfaction and yet disappointment. shall blog about this another time. when the time is ripe.
nothing much to say, guess next monday and tuesday is off and leave respectively, unless there is any unexpected and unforseen changes, which i hope is not the case! thursday is live firing at nee soon camp again. guess i have to stay in on wed night, thur night and start to do duty on friday. sighs, this is the life that we are living!
